But can eating just two cloves a day really prevent many illnesses? Not exactly. Cloves can support health, but they are not a miracle cure or a guarantee against disease.

Here’s what two cloves a day may help support:

  1. Stronger Immunity
    Cloves are rich in antioxidants, which help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. A strong antioxidant intake supports overall immune health.
  2. Better Digestion
    Cloves may stimulate digestive enzymes and help reduce bloating or gas in some people.
  3. Oral Health
    Eugenol has natural antibacterial properties. That’s why clove oil is often used in dental care. Chewing cloves may help reduce bad breath and oral bacteria.
  4. Reduced Inflammation

Important Things to Know

• Cloves are very potent. Too many can irritate the stomach.
